  • Virat Kohli became the sixth player to reach 12,000 ODI runs after Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Sanath Jayasuriya and Mahela Jayawardene.
  • 150* : Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for India against Australia in One-day international, previously held by the 123-run stand between Sadagoppan Ramesh and Robin Singh at Colambo (SSC) in 1999 and India's third highest sixth-wicket stand in ODIs.

India scored 302-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Hardik Pandya hammered a unbeaten 92 off 62-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 121.05.

Ravindra Jadeja blasted a unbeaten 66 off 50-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 132, Virat Kohli struck 63 off 78-balls included 5-fours.

Shubman Gill scored 33 off 39-balls including 3-fours & a six, Shreyas Iyer 19 and Shikhar Dhawan 16.

Australia best bowler by Ashton Agar took 2-wickets, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott.

Australia scored 289 for all-out in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch struck 75 off 82-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes.

Glenn Maxwell blasted a 59 off 38-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 155.26, Alex Carey scored 38 off 42-balls included 4-fours, Ashton Agar 28, Moises Henriques 22 and debutant Cameron Green - who scored 21-runs on his debut ODI match.

India best bowler by Shardul Thakur picked up 3-wickets, Jasprit Bumrah takes two-wickets, debutant T Natarajan - who took 2-wickets on his debut ODI match and Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja both took one-wickets.

Hardik Pandya named Player of the match for his power-packed career-best unbeaten 92-runs knocked off facing 76-balls including 7-fours and a six with strike rate of 121.05.

Steve Smith earned player of the series for contributing 218-runs including two centuries with strike rate of 148.96.
