  • India's 91-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.
  • 106 : Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for India against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.
  • India's 348 was their highest score against Bangladesh in One-day international and India's sixth highest total in ODIs.
  • 5 : MS Dhoni equalled a joint second most dismissals in an innings by an Indian wicket-keeper in One-day internationals, jointly 5-dismissals by Syed Kirmani, Sadanand Vishwanath, Kiran More, Nayan Mongia and MSK Prasad.
  • Bangladesh's 257 was their joint third highest score in One-day international and It is their highest total against India in ODIs, previous highest was 249 at same venue in 2000.
  • This is the second instance of India's four batsmen were scores of fifty or more runs in their innings in One-day internationals. The only other such instance came against Australia at Delhi in 1987.

India scored mammoth total of 348-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Virender Sehwag 70, Yuvraj Singh hammered a 69 off 32-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 215.63.

Rahul Dravid struck 60 off 68-balls including 5-fours, Sourav Ganguly scored 55 off 80-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours.

Sachin Tendulkar cracked a 47 off 42-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 111.90 and Mohammad Kaif 29 not out.

Bangladesh best bowler by Khaled Mahmud picked up 3-wickets and one for Rajin Saleh - Mohammad Rafique.

Bangladesh scored 257-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rajin Saleh struck 82 off 114-balls including 8-fours & a six.

Mashrafe Mortaza hammered a 39 off 20-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 195, Mohammad Ashraful scored 32 off 38-balls included 4-fours and Mushfiqur Rahman 27 not out.

India best bowler by Sachin Tendulkar claimed a 4-wickets for 54-runs in 9-overs including two maidens, Ajit Agarkar took 2-wickets and one for Zaheer Khan - Harbhajan Singh.

Virender Sehwag named Player of the match for his quick-fire 70-runs knocked off facing 52-balls including 9-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 134.62.

Mohammad Kaif earned player of the series for contributing 158-runs with average of 79 in the three-match ODI series.
