David Miller's record-breaking 38-ball maiden century powers to Kings XI Punjab emphatic six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore and kept their contention for a playoff place in the high-scoring clash of the 51st match of a Indian Premier League.
* David Miller hammered a 38-ball third fastest century in Indian Premier League and the fastest hundred by an Kings XI Punjab batsman in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 52-ball century held by Paul Valthaty against Chennai Super Kings at same venue in 2011.
* David Miller became the fourth Kings XI Punjab batsman to score a hundred in IPL after Shaun Marsh, Adam Gilchrist and Paul Valthaty.
