Tim Southee's four-for before Tim Seifert's blistering 84* and Kane Williamson's fifty helped to New Zealand emphatic nine-wicket victory over Pakistan, despite a Mohammad Hafeez's career-best 99* and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second T20I.

* The nine-wicket win is New Zealand's fifth time in T20 international and 2-times New Zealand had defeated Pakistan by nine or more wickets in T20Is.

* Tim Southee's 4 for 21 was his second best bowling figures for New Zealand in T20 international and also the his second best figures against Pakistan in T20Is.

* Mohammad Hafeez's 99* was the second highest score for Pakistan in T20 international and the highest score by an Pakistan batsman against New Zealand in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 79 held by Babar Azam at Dubai (DSC) in 2018.

* 129* : Tim Seifert and Kane Williamson set up the record second-wicket partnership for New Zealand in T20 international, previously held by the 114-run stand between Hamish Rutherford and Brendon McCullum against England at The Oval in 2013.

Pakistan scored 163-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Hafeez cracked a career-best unbeaten 99 off 57-balls including 10-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 173.68.

 Mohammad Rizwan scored 22 off 20-balls including 4-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee claimed a 4-wickets for 21-runs in 4-overs, James Neesham and Ish Sodhi both took one-wickets.

New Zealand chased 164-1 in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Tim Seifert hammered a unbeaten 84 off 63-balls including 8-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 133.33.

Kane Williamson cracked a unbeaten 57 off 42-balls including 8-fours & a six and Martin Guptill 21.
