* Washington Sundar's 62 was the third highest-score by a No.7 batsman for India on debut Test match.

* 123 : Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur set up the third highest seventh-wicket partnership for India against Australia in Test matches and India's highest seventh-wicket stand against Australia at Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba in Tests.

Australia 1st Innings scored 369 for all-out in 115.2 overs with top scorer by Marnus Labuschagne 108 off 204-balls - which was his 5th Test hundred and his first century against India in Tests - including nine boundaries.

India chased 329-7 in 97 overs with top scorer by Shubman Gill 91 off 146-balls - who fell nine-run short of his century - including 8-fours & 2-sixes.

2nd innings Australia best bowler by Pat Cummins claimed a 4-wickets for 55-runs in 24-overs including five maidens, Nathan Lyon took 2-wickets and one for Josh Hazlewood.

Rishabh Pant named Player of the match for his match-winning power-packed unbeaten 89-runs knocked off facing 138-balls including 9-fours and a six.

Pat Cummins earned player of the series for claiming 21-wickets with average of 20.04 in the four-match Test series.
