A superb economical bowling figures from Albie Morkel, Varun Aaron and Yuzvendra Chahal before Yuvraj Singh's classy half-century and Virat Kohli's unbeaten 49 powers to Royal Challengers Bangalore emphatic eight-wicket victory over Delhi Daredevils in the second match of a Indian Premier League.
* The All-rounder Yuvraj Singh and Run-machine Virat Kohli partnership didn't have a happy ending in the 2014 World T20 final, but less than two weeks after that game in Mirpur, their association in Sharjah followed a different script. Exchange India's blue for Bangalore's red, the pair made easy work of Delhi Daredevils' 145, helping Bangalore seal to a eight-wicket win. Yuvraj was circumspect to begin with but later on brought out his powerful game to not only outscore Kohli but help Bangalore march to the target with 20-balls to spare.
DD scored 145-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jean-Paul Duminy blasted a unbeaten 67 off 48-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 139.58.
Ross Taylor hit a unbeaten 43 off 39-balls including 4-fours and Murali Vijay scored 18 off 20-balls contained one-six & a four.
RCB best bowler by Varun Aaron captured 1-wicket for 9-runs in 3-overs, Yuzvendra Chahal, Albie Morkel and Mitchell Starc each took one-wickets.
RCB chased 146-2 in 16.4 overs with top scorer by Yuvraj Singh hammered a unbeaten 52 off 29-balls including 5-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 179.31.
Virat Kohli cracked a unbeaten 49 off 38-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours and Parthiv Patel hit 37 off 28-balls contained 5-fours & a six.
DD best bowler by Mohammed Shami and Rahul Sharma both took one-wickets.
Yuzvendra Chahal named Player of the match for his excellent spin bowling performance to took 1-wicket for 18-runs in 4-overs.
