* Kolkata Knight Riders' 9-wicket win was their joint largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in Indian Premier League, it is their fourth time win by nine wickets and first time Kolkata Knight Riders had defeated Kings XI Punjab by nine wickets in IPL.
KXIP scored 149-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virender Sehwag hammered a 72 off 50-balls including 11-fours & a six with strike rate of 144.
Wriddhiman Saha hit 15 off 9-balls including 3-fours, Mitchell Johnson and Glenn Maxwell each scored 14-runs.
KKR best bowler by Piyush Chawla picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 4-overs, Morne Morkel took 2-wickets and one for Sunil Narine - Umesh Yadav.
KKR chased 150-1 in 18 overs with top scorer by Gautam Gambhir cracked a unbeaten 63 off 45-balls, Robin Uthappa blasted a 46 off 28-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 164.28 and Manish Pandey scored a unbeaten 36 off 35-balls included 3-fours.
KXIP best bowler by Parvinder Awana took one-wicket for 20-runs in 2-overs.
Gautam Gambhir named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 63 off facing 45-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 140.
