Maiden centuries from Chundangapoyil Rizwan and Muhammad Usman leads to United Arab Emirates register a their historic first ODI win against Ireland by six-wickets, despite a brilliant century from Paul Stirling and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

* This is the United Arab Emirates' first ever ODI win against Ireland in 7 matches.

* 102 : Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for Ireland against UAE in One-day internationals.

* 2 : Paul Stirling equalled a joint most centuries hit by an Ireland batsman against UAE in One-day internationals, jointly with 2-hundreds by William Porterfield.

* 184 : Chundangapoyil Rizwan and Muhammad Usman set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for UAE in One-day internationals, previously held by the 144-run stand between Rameez Shahzad and Shaiman Anwar against West Indies at Harare in 2018.

Ireland scored 269-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Stirling 131 not out off 131-balls - which was his 10th ODI hundred and his second century against UAE in ODIs.

Andy Balbirnie struck 53 off 61-balls including 5-fours, Curtis Campher scored 24 off 30-balls included 3-fours.

Kevin O'Brien hit 23 off 22-balls including 5-fours and Gareth Delany 21 not out.

UAE best bowler by Rohan Mustafa takes 2-wickets, Ahmed Raza, Palaniapan Meiyappan both took 1-wickets and Debutant Kashif Daud - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

  UAE chased 270-4 in 49 overs with top scorer by Chundangapoyil Rizwan 109 off 136-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Muhammad Usman 102 not out off 107-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 7-fours & 3-sixes, Waheed Ahmed 18 not out and Zawar Farid 15.

Ireland best bowler by Curtis Campher and Barry McCarthy both took 2-wickets.

Chundangapoyil Rizwan named Player of the match for his  match-winning brilliant 109-runs knocked off facing 136-balls including 9-fours & a six.
