Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel stars as India massive 317-run victory over England, despite a Moeen Ali's all-round display and level the series 1-1 in a one-sided game of the second Test match.

* India's 317-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs against England in Test matches and their biggest victory at Chepauk, Chennai in Tests.

* 21 : Virat Kohli equalled a joint most wins as India captain at home in Test matches, jointly with MS Dhoni's 21-wins in 30-matches.

* Rohit Sharma's 161 was his fourth highest score for India in Test matches and his highest score against England in Tests.

* Rohit Sharma became the first international cricketer to hit 200 sixes in India.

* Ravichandran Ashwin's 5 for 43 was his fourth best bowling figures for India against England in Test matches.

* Ravichandran Ashwin's 5 for 43 was his 29th 5-wicket haul or more wickets for India in Test matches and the joint sevent in the list of most five-wicket haul or more wickets in Tests, jointly with Australia's Glenn McGrath.

* This is the third time Ravichandran Ashwin took five-wicket haul and score a hundred in a match in Test matches.

* Axar Patel became the ninth Indian bowler to claimed a five-wicket on debut Test match.

* England's 134 was their joint fifth lowest score against India in Test matches.

India 1st Innings scored 329 for all-out in 95.5 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma 161 off 231-balls - which was his 7th Test hundred and his first century against England in T20Is - including 18-fours & 2-sixes.

1st Innings England best bowler by Moeen Ali claimed a 4-wickets for 128-runs in 29-overs including eight maidens, Olly Stone picked up 3-wickets, Jack Leach took 2-wickets and one for Joe Root.

England 1st Innings scored 134 for all-out in 59.5 overs with top scorer by Ben Foakes 42 not out, Ollie Pope 22, Ben Stokes 18 and Dom Sibley 16.

1st Innings India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a 5-wicket haul for 43-runs in 23.5-overs including a four maidens, Ishant Sharma takes 2-wickets, Debutant Axar Patel - who took 2-wickets on his debut Tets match and Mohammed Siraj took one-wicket.

India 2nd Innings scored 286 for all-out in 85.5 overs with top scorer by Ravichandran Ashwin 106 off 148-balls - which was his 5th Test hundred and his first century against England in Tests - including 14-fours & a six.

2nd Innings England best bowler by Moeen Ali claimed a 4-wickets for 98-runs in 32-overs including seven maidens, Jack Leach picked up 4-wickets for 100-runs in 33-overs included six maidens and one for Olly Stone.

England 2nd Innings 164 for all-out in 54.2 overs with top scorer by Moeen Ali hammered a 43 off 18-balls including 5-sixes & 3-sixes with strike rate of 238.89, Joe Root 33, Dan Lawrence 26 and Rory Burns 25.

2nd Innings India best bowler by Axar Patel - claimed a 5-wicket haul for 60-runs for 21-overs on his debut T20I match - including five maidens, Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 3-wickets and Kuldeep Yadav took 2-wickets.

Ravichandran Ashwin named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 8-wickets and scored a century.
