New Zealand best bowler by Mitchell Santner claimed a 4-wicket haul for 31-runs in 4-overs, James Neesham took 2-wickets for 10-runs in 2-overs, Ish Sodhi and Tim Southee both took one-wickets.

Martin Guptill named Player of the match for his power-hitting batting performance to smashed a unbeaten rapid 97-runs knocked off facing 50-balls including 8-sixes and 6-fours with strike rate of 194.
