Bowlers attack before Michael Hussey's quick-fire half-century helped to Mumbai Indians narrow 15-run victory over Delhi Daredevils, despite a Manoj Tiwary - JP Duminy's assault and keep their playoff hopes alive in the 51st match of a Indian Premier League.
* Mumbai Indians lost their last eight wickets for 33 runs. They went from 140 for 2 to 173 for all-out.
MI scored 173 for all-out in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Michael Hussey blasted a 56 off 33-balls, Lendl Simmons struck 35 off 25-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 140.
Rohit Sharma struck 30 off 21-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 142.85 and Aditya Tare hit 14 off 8-balls contained 3-fours with strike-rate of 175.
DD best bowler by Imran Tahir picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 4-overs, Jaydev Unadkat took 2-wickets and one for Wayne Parnell - Shahbaz Nadeem.
DD scored 158-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jean-Paul Duminy blasted a unbeaten 45 off 29-balls including 4-sixes with strike rate of 155.17.
Kevin Pietersen cracked a 44 off 31-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 141.93, Manoj Tiwary struck 41 off 31-balls included 5-fours & a six.
MI best bowler by Marchant de Lange took 2-wickets and Shreyas Gopal - Harbhajan Singh.
Michael Hussey named Player of the match for his quick-fire 56 off facing 33-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 169.70.
