T Natarajan holds nerve as India tense 7-run victory over England, despite a fighting knock from No.8 batsman Sam Curran's record-equal 95* and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a high-scoring thriller of the third ODI.

  • India's 329 was their joint sixth highest score against England in One-day internationals.
  • England's 322 was their joint ninth highest score against India in One-day internationals.
  • 103 : Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan set up the seventh highest first-wicket partnership for India against England in India in One-day internationals.
  • 99 : Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya set up the eighth highest fifth-wicket partnership for India against England in One-day internationals.
  • Sam Curran's unbeaten 95 was the joint highest score by a No.8 batsman in One-day internationals, jointly unbeaten 95 held by their countryman Chris Woakes against Sri Lanka at Nottingham in 2016.

India scored mammoth total of 329 for all-out in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Rishabh Pant blasted 78 off 62-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 125.81.

Hardik Pandya hammered a 64 off 44-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 145.45, Shikhar Dhawan struck 67 off 56-balls included 10-fours.

Rohit Sharma scored a run-a-ball 37-runs including 6-fours, Shardul Thakur blasted a 30 off 21-balls included 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 142.86 and Krunal Pandya 25.

England best bowler by Mark Wood picked up 3-wickets for 34-runs in 7-overs including a maiden, Adil Rashid takes 2-wickets, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Ben Stokes and Reece Topley each took one-wickets.

England scored 322-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sam Curran 95 not out off 83-balls.

Dawid Malan cracked a run-a-ball 50-runs including 6-fours, Liam Livingstone scored 36 off 31-balls included 4-fours & a six.

Ben Stokes scored 35 off 39-balls including 4-fours & a six, Moeen Ali hit 29 off 25-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 116, Adil Rashid 19 and Jos Buttler 15.

India best bowler by Shardul Thakur claimed a 4-wickets for 67-runs in 10-overs, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up 3-wickets and one for T Natarajan.

Sam Curran named Player of the match for his sensational fighting batting performance to smashed a record-equal career-best unbeaten 95-runs knocked off facing 83-balls including 9-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 114.46

Jonny Bairstow earned player of the series for contributing 219-runs including one-century & a fifty in the three-match ODI series.
