Ambati Rayudu scored 22 off 27-balls including two boundaries and Vinay Kumar hit 12 off 11-balls contained a four.
RPS best bowler by Mitchell Marsh, Ishant Sharma both took 2-wickets, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rajat Bhatia Murugan Ashwin and RP Singh each took one-wickets.
RPS chased 126-1 in 14.4 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane hammered a unbeaten 66 off 42-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 157.14.
Faf du Plessis cracked a 34 off 33-balls including 3-sixes & a six and Kevin Pietersen hit a unbeaten 21 off 14-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 150.
MI best bowler by Harbhajan Singh took 1-wicket for 24-runs in 3-overs.
Ajinkya Rahane named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten quick-fire 66 off facing 42-balls including 7-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 157.14.
