An unbeaten rapid half-century from Yusuf Pathan and Andre Russell's all-round display helped to Kolkata Knight Riders crushing five-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 30th match of a Indian Premier League.


Yusuf Pathan hammered a 27-ball his sixth fastest fifty in Indian Premier league and the fastest fifty by an Kolkata Knight Riders batsman against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.


RCB scored 185-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul blasted a 52 off 32-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 162.50.

Virat Kohli struck 52 off 44-balls including four boundaries, Shane Watson blasted a 34 off 21-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 161.90.

Stuart Binny hammered a 16 off 4-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 400 and Sachin Baby blasted a 16 off 8-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 200.

KKR best bowler by Morne Morkel, Piyush Chawla both took 2-wickets and one for Andre Russell - Umesh Yadav.

KKR chased 189-5 in 19.1 overs with top scorer by Yusuf Pathan hammered a unbeaten 60 off 29-balls, Andre Russell cracked a 39 off 24-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 162.50.

Gautam Gambhir struck 37 off 29-balls including 4-fours & a six and Chris Lynn scored 15 off 12-balls included a six.

RCB best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal captured two-wickets, Sreenath Aravind, Stuart Binny and Shane Watson each took one-wickets.

Andre Russell named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a quick-fire 39 off 24-balls including 4-sixes and a four with strike rate of 162.50 after took one-wicket for 24-runs in 4-overs.
