Suryakumar Yadav's maiden half-century and Yusuf Pathan's valuable 36 helped to Kolkata Knight Riders registered their historic first IPL game win against Rising Pune Supergiants by a tense 2-wickets in a tight 20th match of a Indian Premier League.
RPS scored 160-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane cracked a 67 off 52-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes.
Steven Smith struck 31 off 28-balls including two boundaries, MS Dhoni blasted a unbeaten 23 off 12-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 191.66 and Albie Morkel hit 16 off 9-balls contained 2-sixes with strike-rate of 177.77.
KKR best bowler by Shakib Al Hasan, Umesh Yadav, Rajagopal Sathish and Sunil Narine each took one-wickets.
KKR chased 162-8 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav struck 60 off 49-balls, Yusuf Pathan cracked a 36 off 27-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours and Andre Russell hit 17 off 11-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 154.54.
RPS best bowler by Rajat Bhatia, Thisara Perera, Albie Morkel each took 2-wickets and one for Murugan Ashwin.
Suryakumar Yadav named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 60 off facing 49-balls including 6-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 122.45.
