Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle powers to Royal Challengers Bangalore thrilling six-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite a magnificent all-round display from Moises Henriques in a rain-shortened game of the 52nd match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Moises Henriques equalled a 20-ball joint fastest fifty for Sunrisers Hyderabad in Indian Premier League, jointly 20-ball half-century held by David Warner against Chennai Super Kings earlier this month.

SRH scored 135-3 in 11 overs at when rain stopped the play - with top scorer by Moises Henriques hammered a 57 off 22-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 259.09.

David Warner blasted a unbeaten 52 off 32-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 162.50 and Eoin Morgan struck 11 off 7-balls included a six with strike-rate of 157.14.

RCB best bowler by David Wiese took 2-wickets and one for Mitchell Starc.

RCB chased 83-4 in 5.5 overs - due to rain revised DLS target of 81 for 6-overs - with top scorer by Virat Kohli blasted a unbeaten 44 off 19-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 231.57.

Chris Gayle hammered a 35 off 10-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 350 and Dinesh Karthik scored a run-a-ball 2-runs.

SRH best bowler by Moises Henriques captured 2-wickets for 3-runs in an over and Praveen Kumar took one-wicket.

Virat Kohli named Player of the match for his match-winning quick-fire unbeaten 44 off 19-balls including 3-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 231.58.
