Ashok Dinda, Mitchell Marsh, Faf du Plessis and Steve Smith guided Rising Pune Supergiants registered their historic first IPL game win against Sunrisers Hyderabad by a DLS method 34-runs in a rain-curtailed 22nd match of a Indian Premier League.
SRH scored 118-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan cracked a unbeaten 56 off 53-balls including 2-fours & a six.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar hammered a 21 off 8-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 262.50 and Naman Ojha scored 18 off 21-balls included a six
RPS best bowler by Ashok Dinda picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Mitchell Marsh took 2-wickets and one for Ravichandran Ashwin - Thisara Perera.
RPS chased 94-3 in 11 overs due to rain DLS par score 60 after 11 overs - Rising Pune Supergiants were 34 runs ahead of the par score when rain-stopped the match - with top scorer by Steven Smith cracked a unbeaten 46 off 36-balls including 7-fours.
Faf du Plessis blasted a 30 off 21-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 142.85 and MS Dhoni scored 5 off 4-balls included a boundary.
SRH best bowler by Moises Henriques, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra each took one-wickets.
Ashok Dinda named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs including a maiden.
