Ishan Kishan's debut fifty and Virat Kohli's masterclass half-century powers to India comfortable seven-wicket victory over England and level the series with 1-1 in the second T20I.

  • 26 : Virat Kohli hit the most fifty-plus scores in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the Rohit Sharma's record of 25 fifty plus scores.
  • Virat Kohli became the first batsman to score 3000 runs landmark in T20 international cricket history.
  • Ishan Kishan became the seventh Indian player to win the Man-of-the-match award on debut T20I match.
  • Ishan Kishan became the second Indian batsman to score a fifty or more runs on debut T20I match after Ajinkya Rahane.

England scored 164-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jason Roy struck 46 off 35-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

Eoin Morgan hammered a 28 off 20-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 140, Dawid Malan hit 24 off 23-balls included four-fours, Ben Stokes scored 24 off 21-balls including a boundary and Jonny Bairstow 20.

India best bowler by Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur both took 2-wickets and one for Bhuvneshwar Kumar - Yuzvendra Chahal.

India chased 166-3 in 17.5 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli hammered a unbeaten 73 off 49-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 148.98.

Debutant Ishan Kishan - who scored 56 off 32-balls on his debut T20I match and Rishabh Pant blasted a 26 off 13-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 200.

England best bowler by Sam Curran, Adil Rashid and Chris Jordan each took one-wickets.

Ishan Kishan named Player of the match for his match-winning whirlwind 56-runs knocked off facing 32-balls including 5-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 175.
