Pathum Nissanka's debut century, Niroshan Dickwella's nervous 96 set the commanding target 375 before West Indies lost 34 for 1 in the day 4 of the first Test match.

Nkrumah Bonner's maiden century and Kyle Mayers half-century helped to West Indies salvage drawn in the day 5 of the first Test match.

* Jason Holder's 5 for 27 was his third best bowling figures for West Indies in Test matches and the sixth best bowling figures by an West Indies bowler against Sri Lanka in Tests.

* Jason Holder's 5 for 27 was his eighth five-wicket haul or more wickets for West Indies in Test matches.

* Pathum Nissanka became the fourth Sri Lankan batsman to score a hundred on debut Test match, the first debut century since Thilan Samaraweera in 2001 and the first Sri Lankan player to hit hundred in overseas.

Sri Lanka 1st Innings scored 169 for all-out in 69.4 overs with top scorer by Lahiru Thirimanne 70, Niroshan Dickwella 32 and Dhananjaya de Silva 13.

1st innings West Indies best bowler by Jason Holder claimed a 5-wicket haul for 27-runs in 17.4-overs including six maidens, Kemar Roach picked up 3-wickets and one for Rahkeem Cornwall.

West Indies 1st Innings scored 271 for all-out in 103 overs with top scorer by Rahkeem Cornwall 61, Joshua Da Silva 46, Kyle Mayers 45, John Campbell 42, Nkrumah Bonner 31 and Jason Holder 19.

1st Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Suranga Lakmal claimed a 5-wicket haul for 47-runs in 25-overs including nine maidens, Dushmantha Chameera, Vishwa Fernando both took 2-wickets and one for Lasith Embuldeniya.

Sri Lanka 2nd Innings scored 476 for all-out in 149.5 overs with top scorer by Debutant Pathum Nissanka 103 off 252-balls - which was his 1st Test hundred on his debut Test match - including 6-fours.

Niroshan Dickwella 96 off 163-balls - who fell four-run short of his century - including 8-fours.

Oshada Fernando 91 off 149-balls - who fell nine-run short of his century - including 11-fours, Lahiru Thirimanne 76 and Dhananjaya de Silva 50.

2nd Innings West Indies best bowler by Kemar Roach, Rahkeem Cornwall both picked up 3-wickets, Kyle Mayers took 2-wickets and one for Alzarri Joseph.

West Indies 2nd Innings scored 236-4 in 100-overs with top scorer by Nkrumah Bonner 113 not out off 274-balls - which was his 1st Test hundred, Kyle Mayers 52, Kraigg Brathwaite 23 and Jason Holder 18 not out.

2nd Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Vishwa Fernando and Lasith Embuldeniya both took 2-wickets.

Nkrumah Bonner named Player of the match for his match-saving brilliant unbeaten 113-runs knocked off facing 274-balls including 13-fours and a six.
