Rahmanullah Gurbaz equalled a 26-ball joint seventh fastest fifty for Afghanistan in T20 international and the second fastest fifty by an Afghanistan batsman against Zimbabwe in T20Is after Najibullah Zadran's 22-ball half-century.

Afghanistan scored 198-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rahmanullah Gurbaz 87, Asghar Afghan hammered a 55 off 38-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 144.74 and Karim Janat 26.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava both took 2-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 150-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tinashe Kamunhukamwe struck 44 off 37-balls including 4-fours, Sikandar Raza 22, Sean Williams 22, Tarisai Musakanda 18 and Richmond Mutumbami 15.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Karim Janat and Fareed Ahmed both took 2-wickets.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz named Player of the match for his power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best 87-runs knocked off facing 45-balls including 7-sixes and 6-fours with strike rate of 193.33.
