Sixties from Lendl Simmons and Kieron Pollard before Bowlers attack helped to Mumbai Indians record-breaking 146-run victory over Delhi Daredevils in a one-sided game of the 45th match of a Indian Premier League.

Match Stats : 
  • Mumbai Indians' 146-run win was the largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 144-run win by Royal Challengers Bangalore against Gujarat Lions at Bengaluru in the last year.
  • Mumbai Indians' 212 was their joint second highest score in Indian Premier League and It is their second highest total against Delhi Daredevils in IPL after their record 218 at same venue in the IPL 2010.
  • Delhi Daredevils' 66 was their lowest score ever in Indian Premier League history, previous lowest was 67 against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali earlier in the last month and the third worst total in IPL.

MI scored massive total of 212-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Lendl Simmons hammered a 66 off 43-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 153.48.

Kieron Pollard blasted a unbeaten 63 off 35-balls included 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 180, Hardik Pandya hammered a unbeaten 29 off 14-balls included 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 207.14 and Parthiv Patel scored 25 off 23-balls contained 3-fours.

DD best bowler by Corey Anderson, Kagiso Rabada and Amit Mishra each took one-wickets.

DD scored 66 for all-out in 13.4 overs with top scorer by Karun Nair blasted a 21 off 15-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 140, Pat Cummins and Corey Anderson each scored 10-runs.

MI best bowler by Karn Sharma picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 3.4-overs, Harbhajan Singh picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 4-overs.

Lasith Malinga captured two-wickets for 5-runs in 2-overs, Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan both took one-wickets.

Lendl Simmons named Player of the match for his quick-fire 66 off facing 43-balls including 5-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 153.49.
