Max O'Dowd's record-breaking century before Bowlers attack helped to Netherlands crushing 15-run victory over Malaysia, despite a fighting knock from Virandeep Singh's 53-ball 87 in the second match of a Tri-nation series.

Match Stats : 
  • Max O'Down became the first Netherlands batsman to score a hundred in T20 international cricket history.
  • Max O'Dowd's unbeaten 133 was the highest score by an Netherlands batsman in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 96 held by Pieter Seelaar against Scotland at Dublin (Malahide) in 2019 and the fifth highest-score in T20Is.
  • 125* : Max O'Dowd and Ben Cooper set up the record third-wicket partnership for Netherlands in T20 international, previously held by the 98-run stand between Michael Rippon and Wesley Barresi against Oman at Abu Dhabi in 2017 and Netherlands' third highest any-wicket stand in T20Is.

Netherlands scored 191-2 in 20 overs with top scorer by Max O'Dowd 133 not out - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Scott Edwards hit 31 off 23-balls including 3-fours and a six and Ben Cooper 20 not out.

Malaysia best bowler by Pavandeep Singh and Anwar Rahman both took one-wickets.

Malaysia scored 176-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virandeep Singh hammered a 87 off  53-balls including 6-sixes and 6-fours with strike rate of 164.15.

Sharvin Muniandy blasted a 28 off 20-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 140 and Aminuddin Ramly hammered a 26 off 15-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 173.33.

Netherlands best bowler by Aryan Dutt, Bas de Leede, Sebastiaan Braat each took 2-wickets and one for Pieter Seelaar.

Max O'Dowd named Player of the match for his record-breaking career-best unbeaten 133-runs knocked off facing 73-balls including 15-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 182.19.
