JJ Smit, Michiel du Preez and Bowlers guided Namibia cruising to via DLS method 20-run victory over Uganda and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in a rain-affected game of the second T20I.
Namibia scored 134-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by JJ Smit 44, Michiel du Preez cracked a run-a-ball unbeaten 33-runs including 2-fours & a six and Karl Birkenstock 16.
Uganda best bowler by Riazat Ali Shah picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Cosmas Kyewuta, Kenneth Waiswa and Jonathan Sebanja each took one-wickets..
Uganda scored 65-5 in 12.4-overs - due to rain DLS par score 85 after 12.4 overs Uganda were 20 runs behind of the par score when rain-stopped the match.
Uganda top scorer by Kenneth Waiswa scored 33 off 31-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes and Ronak Patel 19 not out.
Namibia best bowler by Ben Shikongo takes 2-wickets, Tangeni Lungameni took 1-wicket for 4-runs in 2-overs including a maiden, Jan Frylinck and Bernard Scholtz both took one-wickets.
JJ Smit named Player of the match for his valuable 40 off 32-balls including 2-sixes and a four with strike rate of 125.
