Bowlers attack before An unbeaten rapid half-century from Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh's quick-fire 42 helped to Nepal comfortable nine-wicket victory over Malaysia in a one-sided game of the third match of a Tri-nation series.
* Nepal's 9-wicket win was their joint largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in T20 international, it is their 4th time win by nine wickets and 1st time Nepal had defeated Malaysia by nine wickets in T20Is.
* Kushal Bhurtel hammered a 26-ball third fastest fifty for Nepal in T20 international and also the third fastest fifty by an Nepal batsman against Malaysia in T20Is.
* 102 : Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh set up the record first-wicket partnership for Nepal against Malaysia in T20 international, previously held by the 66-run stand between Pradeep Singh Airee and Gyanendra Malla at Singapore in 2019 and Nepal's fourth highest any-wicket stand in T20Is.
Malaysia scored 109 for all-out in 16.5 overs with top scorer by Syed Aziz struck 27 off 24-balls including -fours & a six, Sharvin Muniandy 20 and Shafiq Sharif 15.
Nepal best bowler by Karan KC 3-17, Sandeep Lamichhane takes 2-wickets, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami, Kushal Malla and Shahab Alam each took one-wickets.
Nepal chased 113-1 in 12.1 overs with top scorer by Kushal Bhurtel hammered a unbeaten 61 off 41-balls including 5-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 148.78 and Aasif Sheikh blasted a 42 off 29-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike-rate of 144.82.
Malaysia best bowler by Virandeep Singh took one-wicket for 7-runs in 1-over.
Karan KC named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs.
