Rapid half-century from Finn Allen and Martin Guptill's assault before Todd Astle's four-for and Tim Southee's three-for helped to New Zealand domineering 65-run victory over Bangladesh and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a rain-shortened 10-overs-a-side game of the third T20I.

* This is the second time New Zealand have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in T20 international and also their second against Bangladesh in T20Is.

* This is the third time Bangladesh have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in T20 internationals.

* New Zealand's 65-run win was their third largest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in T20 internationals.

* Finn Allen equalled a 18-ball joint second fastest fifty for New Zealand in T20 international, jointly 18-ball half-century two times hit by Colin Munro and the fastest fifty by an New Zealand batsman against Bangladesh in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 24-ball half-century held by Anton Devcich at Dhaka in 2013.

* 85 : Martin Guptill and Finn Allen set up the record first-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Bangladesh in T20 international, previously held by the unbeaten 79-run stand between Brendon McCullum and Peter Ingram at  Hamilton in 2010.

* Todd Astle's 4 for 13 was the fifth best bowling figures for New Zealand in T20 international and the best bowling figures by an New Zealand bowler against Bangladesh in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 28 held by Ish Sodhi at Hamilton in this year.

* Bangladesh's 76 was their second lowest score in T20 international and also it is their second worst total against New Zealand in T20Is.

* 99 : Tim Southee became the second leading wicket-taker in T20 internationals after Lasith Malinga's 107.

New Zealand scored 141-4 in 10 overs with top scorer by Finn Allen 71, Martin Guptill blasted a 44 off 19-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 231.58 and Glenn Phillips 14.

Bangladesh best bowler by Shoriful Islam, Taskin Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan each took one-wickets.

Bangladesh scored 76 for all-out in 9.3 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Naim 19, Mosaddek Hossain 13 and Soumya Sarkar 10.

New Zealand best bowler by Todd Astle claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 13-runs in 2-overs, Tim Southee picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 2-overs, Glenn Phillips, Lockie Ferguson and Adam Milne each took one-wickets.

Finn Allen named Player of the match for his career-best rapid 71 off 29-balls including 10-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 244.83.
