Bowlers attack before An unbeaten half-century from KL Rahul and Chris Gayle's superb unbeaten 43 helped to Punjab Kings' record nine-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians in a one-sided game of the 17th match of a Indian Premier League.
* Punjab Kings' 9-wicket win was their joint second largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in Indian Premier League, it is their 3rd time win by nine wickets and 1st time Punjab Kings had defeated Mumbai Indians by nine wickets in IPL.
* 40 : Rohit Sharma equalled a joint third most fifties hit in Indian Premier League, jointly with Virat Kohli.
MI scored 131-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma struck 63 off 52-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.
Suryakumar Yadav cracked a 33 off 27-balls including 3-fours & a six and Kieron Pollard 16 not out.
PBKS best bowler by Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami both took 2-wickets and one for Deepak Hooda - Arshdeep Singh.
PBKS chased 132-1 in 17.4 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul 60 not out, Chris Gayle cracked a unbeaten 43 off 35-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes and Mayank Agarwal hit 25 off 20-balls included 4-fours & a six.
MI best bowler by Rahul Chahar took one-wicket for 19-runs in 4-overs.
KL Rahul named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 60-runs knocked off facing 52-balls including 3-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 115.38.
