KL Rahul's 57-ball 91*, Chris Gayle's assault and Harpreet Brar's all-round display helped to Punjab Kings comprehensive 34-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite a late onslaught from Harshal Patel's 13-ball 31 in the 26th match of a Indian Premier League.
PBKS scored 179-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul hammered a unbeaten 91 off 57-balls including 7-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 159.64.
Chris Gayle blasted a 46 off 24-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 191.66 and Harpreet Brar 25 not out.
RCB best bowler by Kyle Jamieson took 2-wickets, Shahbaz Ahmed, Daniel Sams and Yuzvendra Chahal each took one-wickets.
RCB scored 145-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli struck 35 off 34-balls including 3-fours & a six.
Harshal Patel hammered a unbeaten 31 off 13-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixe with strike rate of 238.46, Rajat Patidar scored 31 off 30-balls included 2-fours & a six and Kyle Jamieson 16 not out.
PBKS best bowler by Harpreet Brar 3-19, Ravi Bishnoi took 2-wickets and one for Riley Meredith - Chris Jordan.
Harpreet Brar named Player of the match for his all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 4-overs including a maiden after smashing a valuable unbeaten 25 off 17-balls included 2-sixes and a four with strike rate of 147.05.
