Axar Patel, Sandeep Sharma, Glenn Maxwell and Mohit Sharma guided Kings XI Punjab comprehensive 19-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a low-scoring 43rd match of a Indian Premier League.
KXIP scored 138-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Axar Patel blasted a unbeaten 38 off 17-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 223.52.
Manan Vohra struck 25 off 28-balls including one-six & a four, Wriddhiman Saha scored 21 off 25-balls included a boundary and Shaun Marsh cracked a 20 off 17-balls contained 3-fours.
RCB best bowler by Aniket Choudhary, Yuzvendra Chahal both took 2-wickets, Sreenath Aravind, Pawan Negi and Shane Watson each took one-wickets.
RCB scored 119 for all-out in 19 overs with top scorer by Mandeep Singh struck 46 off 40-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.
Pawan Negi struck 21 off 23-balls including 2-fours and AB de Villiers hit 10 off 6-balls contained one-six & a four.
KXIP best bowler by Axar Patel picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 3-overs, Sandeep Sharma captured three-wickets, Glenn Maxwell and Mohit Sharma both took 2-wickets.
Sandeep Sharma named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 22-runs in 4-overs.
