Babar Azam's record-breaking century and Mohammad Rizwan's rapid half-century powers to Pakistan's record nine-wicket victory over South Africa and take a 2-1 lead in a high-scoring epic game of the third T20I.
* Pakistan chased 204 was their highest successful run-chase in T20 internationals.
* Pakistan's 9-wicket win was their joint largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in T20 international, it is their 5th time win by nine wickets and 1st time Pakistan had defeated South Africa by nine wickets in T20Is.
* Babar Azam became the third Pakistan batsman to score a hundred in T20 internationals after Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Rizwan.
* Babar Azam hammered a 49-ball fastest century for Pakistan in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 58-ball hundred held by Ahmed Shehzad against Bangladesh at Dhaka in the 2014 World Twenty20.
* Babar Azam's 122 was the highest score for Pakistan in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 111 held by Ahmed Shehzad against Bangladesh at Dhaka in the 2014 World Twenty20.
* Aiden Markram hammered a 25-ball his fastest fifty for South Africa in T20 international and the joint second fastest fifty by an South African batsman against Pakistan in T20Is, jointly with David Miller.
* 197 : Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam set up the record first-wicket partnership for Pakistan in T20 international, previously held by the 142-run stand between Kamran Akmal and Salman Butt against Bangladesh at Gros Islet in the 2010 World Twenty20, It is the Pakistan's record any-wicket partnership in T20Is, previously held by the unbeaten 143-run stand between Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2013 and the fourth highest any-wicket stand in T20Is.
South Africa scored massive total of 203-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Aiden Markram hammered a 63 off 31-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 203.22.
Janneman Malan struck 55 off 40-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes, Rassie van der Dussen blasted a unbeaten 34 off 20-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 170, George Linde 22 and Heinrich Klaasen 15.
Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Nawaz took 2-wickets, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali each took one-wickets.
Pakistan chased 205-1 in 18 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam 122 - which was his 1st T20I hundred and Mohammad Rizwan cracked a unbeaten 73 off 47-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 155.31.
South Africa best bowler by Lizaad Williams took one-wicket.
Babar Azam named Player of the match for his match-winning record-breaking 122-runs knocked off facing 59-balls including 15-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 206.77.
