India 1st Innings scored 364 for all-out in 126.1 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul 129 off 250-balls - which was his 6th Test hundred and his third century against England in Tests.

Rohit Sharma struck 83 off 145-balls including 11-fours & a six, Virat Kohli 42, Ravindra Jadeja 40 and Rishabh Pant 37.

1st Innings England best bowler by James Anderson claimed a 5-wicket haul for 62-runs in 29-overs including seven maidens, Ollie Robinson, Mark Wood both took 2-wickets and one for Moeen Ali.

England 1st Innings scored 391 for all-out in 128-overs at Stumps - with top scorer by Joe Root 180 not out off 321-balls - which was his 22nd Test hundred and his seventh century against India in Tests - including 18-fours.

Jonny Bairstow 57, Rory Burns 49 off 136-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century, Moeen Ali 27 and Jos Buttler 23.

1st Innings India best bowler by Mohammed Siraj claimed a 4-wickets for 95-runs in 26-overs including three maidens, Ishanth Sharma picked up 3-wickets and Mohammed Shami took 2-wickets.

India 2nd Innings scored 298-8 declared in 109.3 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane 61, Mohammed Shami 56, Cheteshwar Pujara 45, Jasprit Bumrah 34 not out, Rishabh Pant 21, Rohit Sharma 21, Virat Kohli 20 and Ishant Sharma 16.

2nd Innings England best bowler by Mark Wood picked up 3-wickets, Ollie Robinson, Moeen Ali both took 2-wickets and one for Sam Curran.

England 2nd Innings scored 120 for all-out in 51.5 overs with top scorer by Joe Root 33, Jos Buttler 25, Moeen Ali 13.

2nd Innings India's best bowler by Mohammed Siraj claimed a 4-wickets for 32-runs in 10.5-overs, Jasprit Bumrah picked up 3-wickets, Ishanth Sharma took 2-wickets for 13-runs in 10-overs including three maidens and Mohammed Shami took 1-wicket for 13-runs in 10-overs included five maidens.

KL Rahul named Player of the match for his classic batting performance to scored a 129-runs knocked off facing 250-balls including 12-fours and a six.
