Openers Shubman Gill's superb half-century and Chris Lynn's assault helped to Kolkata Knight Riders convincing seven-wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab, despite a Sam Curran's scintillating maiden fifty and keep their playoff hopes alive in the 52nd match of a Indian Premier League.

Nicholas Pooran blasted a 48 off 27-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 177.77, Mayank Agarwal cracked a 36 off 26-balls included 2-fours & a six.
Mandeep Singh hit 25 off 17-balls including one-six & a four with strike rate of 147.05 and Chris Gayle scored a run-a-ball 14-runs contained two boundaries.
KXIP best bowler by Sandeep Warrier captured two-wickets, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell and Harry Gurney each took one-wickets.
KKR chased 185-3 in 18 overs with top scorer by Shubman Gill cracked a unbeaten 65 off 49-balls, Chris Lynn hammered a 46 off 22-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 209.09.
Andre Russell blasted a 24 off 14-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 171.42, Robin Uthappa struck 22 off 14-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.14 and Dinesh Karthik hit a unbeaten 21 off 9-balls contained two-fours & a six with strike rate of 233.33.
KXIP best bowler by Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin and Andrew Tye each took one-wickets.
Shubman Gill named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 65 off facing 49-balls including 5-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 132.65.
