  • The ten-wicket win is South Africa's third and South Africa's biggest victory by terms of wickets remaining against Sri Lanka in T20 international and It is the second such defeat for Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • This is the second time South Africa have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in T20 international and their first against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • This is the fifth time Sri Lanka have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in T20 internationals.
  • Sri Lanka's 120 was their second lowest score in the batting first at R Premadasa Stadium in T20 internationals.
  • South Africa chased 121 ninth lowest successful run-chase in T20 international and It is their joint highest chase against Sri Lanka in T20Is, jointly 121 chase at Delhi in the 2016 World Twenty20.
  • 121* : Reeza Hendricks and Quinton de Kock set up the record first-wicket partnership for South Africa against Sri Lanka in T20 international, previously held by the 73-run stand between these same pair at same venue in this series, It the South Africa's fifth highest opening stand in T20Is and South Africa's tenth highest any-wicket stand in T20Is.

Sri Lanka scored a run-a-ball 120-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kusal Perera struck 39 off 33-balls including 3-fours, Chamika Karunaratne 24 not out and Dasun Shanaka 18.

South Africa best bowler by Bjorn Fortuin, Kagiso Rabada both took 2-wicket, Aiden Markram, Wiaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj each took one-wickets.

South Africa chased 121-0 in 14.4 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock 59 not out and Reeza Hendricks scored a unbeaten 56 off 42-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Quinton de Kock named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 59 off 46-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 128.26.

Quinton de Kock earned player of the series for contributing 153-runs with average of 153 in the three-match T20I series.
