Match Stats : India chased 165 was their second highest successful run-chase against New Zealand in T20 internationals. India have ended a seven-match losing streak across formats against New Zealand. New Zealand's 164 was their tenth highest score against India in T20 international and It is their third highest total in Indian soil in T20Is. 109 : Martin Guptill and Mark Chapman set up the record second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against India in T20 international, previously held by the 74-run stand between Colin Munro and Tim Seifert at Wellington in the last year and New Zealand's fourth highest second-wicket stand in T20Is. 50 : KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma set up the fifth highest first-wicket partnership for India against New Zealand in T20 internationals. 59 : Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav set up the fifth highest second-wicket partnership for India against New Zealand in T20 internationals.

New Zealand scored 164-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill hammered a 70 off 42-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 166.66.

Mark Chapman cracked a 63 off 50-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes and Tim Seifert 12.

India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar both took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Siraj - Deepak Chahar.

India chased 166-5 in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav 62, Rohit Sharma 48 off 36-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes, Rishabh Pant 17 not out and KL Rahul 15.
