Match Stats : India chased 154 was their fourth highest successful run-chase against New Zealand in T20 internationals. New Zealand's 153 was their fourth highest score against India in Indian soil in T20 internationals. 6 : KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma set up the most hundred partnerships by a pair in T20 internationals, surpassing the previous record of 5-century stands held by Pakistan's Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. 117 : KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for India against New Zealand in T20 international, It is the India's ninth highest any-wicket stand against New Zealand in T20Is and also the India's ninth highest opening stand in T20Is. 25 : Rohit Sharma hit the second most fifties in T20 internationals after Virat Kohli's 29-fifties 29 : Rohit Sharma equalled a joint most 50+ scores in T20 internationals, jointly with Virat Kohli's 29 fifty-plus-scores. New Zealand scored 153-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Glenn Phillips hammered a 34 off 21-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 161.90.

Martin Guptill blasted a 31 off 15-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 206.66, Daryl Mitchell scored 31 off 28-balls included 3-fours and Mark Chapman 21.

India best bowler by Debutant Harshal Patel - who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Deepak Chahar each took one-wickets.

India chased 155-3 in 17.2 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul struck 65 off 49-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes.

Rohit Sharma hammered a 55 off 36-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 152.77, Venkatesh Iyer 12 not out and Rishabh Pant 12 not out

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee picked up 3-wickets for 16-runs in 4-overs.
