West Indies best bowler by Andy Roberts picked up 3-wickets for 39-runs in 10.4-overs including a maiden, Viv Richards, Keith Boyce both took 2-wickets and one for Bernard Julien - Vanburn Holder.

West Indies chased 195-3 in 46 overs with top scorer by Alvin Kallicharran 78, Roy Fredericks scored 58 off consuming 105-deliveries including five boundaries, Rohan Kanhai 18 not out, Gordon Greenidge 16 and Viv Richards 15 not out.

Australia best bowler by Ashley Mallett, Max Walker and Dennis Lillee each took one-wickets.
