Marlon Samuels' superb 98 and Captain Brian Lara's masterclass 83 leads to West Indies crushing seven-wicket victory over India and kept their series hopes alive in the third ODI.

India scored 268 for all-out in 48 overs with top scorer by Robin Uthappa hammered a 70 off 41-balls including 11-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 170.73.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 60 off 66-balls including 2-fours, Rahul Dravid cracked a 57 off 67-balls included 6-fours and Suresh Raina hit 23 off 36-balls with 4-fours.

West Indies best bowler by Dwayne Bravo claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 39-runs in 9-overs, Jerome Taylor, Chris Gayle both took 2-wickets and one for Daren Powell - Marlon Samuels.

West Indies chased 270-7 in 43.4 overs with top scorer by Marlon Samuels 98 off 95-balls - who fell five-run short of his century.

Brian Lara struck 83 off 88-balls including 10-fours & 2-sixes, Devon Smith scored 33 off 34-balls included 6-fours and Lendl Simmons 17.

India best bowler by Ajit Agarkar picked up 3-wickets, Ramesh Powar took 2-wickets and one for Anil Kumble - Sreesanth.

Marlon Samuels named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent 98-runs knocked off facing 95-balls including 12-fours and a six.
