Kushal Bhurtel's maiden century and Dipendra Singh Airee's 47-ball 83 sets up to Nepal registered their historic first T20I win against Phillipines by massive 136-runs in a one-sided game of the sixth match of a T20 World Cup Qualifier A.

  • Nepal's 136-run win was their third largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals.
  • Nepal's 218 was their third highest score in T20 internationals.
  • Kushal Bhurtel became the third Nepal batsman to score a hundred in T20 internationals after Paras Khadka and Gyanendra Malla.

Nepal scored mammoth total of 218-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kushal Bhurtel hammered a unbeaten 104 off 61-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Dipendra Singh Airee hammered a 83 off 47-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 176.59 and Kushal Malla 12.

Philippines best bowler by Miggy Podosky, Daniel Smith and Gurbhupinder Chohan each took one-wickets.

Philippines scored 82-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jordan Alegra 27 not out, Daniel Smith 20 and Jonathan Hill 11.

Nepal best bowler by Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 3-wickets for 9-runs in 4-overs, Jitendra Mukhiya, Dipendra Singh Airee, Gulshan Jha, Kushal Malla and Abinash Bohara each took one-wickets.

Kushal Bhurtel named Player of the match for his career-best quick-fire unbeaten 104-runs knocked off facing 61-balls including 13-fours and a six with strike rate of 170.49.
