Mike Brearley scored 53 off consuming 115-balls including three boundaries, Derek Randall scored a unbeaten 42 off 50-balls included one-six & a four and Ian Botham 21.

New Zealand best bowler by Brian McKechnie takes 2-wickets, Richard Hadlee, Gary Troup, Lance Cairns and Jeremy Coney each took one-wickets.

New Zealand scored 212-9 in 60 overs with top scorer by John Wright struck 69 off 137-balls including 9-fours.

Glenn Turner scored 30 off 51-balls including 2-fours, Warren Lees 23, Bruce Edgar 17 and Richard Hadlee 15.
