Travis Head's blazing century and Ben McDermott's maiden half-century before Adam Zampa's four-for helped to Australia comprehensive 88-run victory over Pakistan, despite a brilliant century from Imam-ul-Haq and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

  • Australia's 88-run win was their seventh largest victory by terms of runs against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • Australia's 313 was their eighth highest score against Pakistan in One-day international and It is their third highest total in Pakistan soil in ODIs.
  • Travis Head hammered a 70-ball eighth fastest century for Australia in One-day international and the fastest hundred by an Australian batsman against Pakistan in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 78-ball century held by David Warner at Adelaide in 2017.
  • Travis Head became the fifth Australian batsman to score a hundred in Pakistan soil in One-day internationals.
  • 110 : Travis Head and Aaron Finch set up the eighth first-wicket partnership for Australia against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • Pakistan's 225 was their fourth lowest score in the completed innings against Australia at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • Imam-ul-Haq became the 11th Pakistan batsman to score a hundred against Australia in One-day internationals.

Australia scored 313-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Travis Head hammered a 101 off 72-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & also his second century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Ben McDermott scored 55 off 70-balls including 4-fours, Cameron Green cracked a unbeaten 40 off 30-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 133.33, Marcus Stoinis 26, Marnus Labuschagne 25 and Aaron Finch 23.

Pakistan best bowler by Haris Rauf, Debutant Zahid Mahmood - who took 2-wickets on his debut ODI match, Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah both took one-wickets.

Pakistan scored 225 for all-out in 45.2 overs with top scorer by Imam-ul-Haq 103 off 96-balls - which was his 8th ODI hundred & his first century against Australia in ODIs - including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 107.29.

Babar Azam struck 57 off 72-balls including 6-fours, Khushdil Shah 19 and Fakhar Zaman 18.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa claimed a 4-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs, Travis Head, Debutant Mitchell Swepson - who took 2-wickets on his debut ODI match, Sean Abbott and 

Debutant Nathan Ellis - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match and Sean Abbott took 1-wicket.

Travis Head named Player of the match for his blazing 101-runs knocked off facing 72-balls including 12-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 140.27.
