England best bowler by Ian Botham picked up 3-wickets for 39-runs in 7-overs, Mike Hendrick and Geoff Miller both took one-wickets.

England chased 212-7 in 35 overs with top scorer by Debutant Brian Rose - who scored 54 off consuming 104-balls on his debut ODI match - including 6-fours.

Derek Randall struck 35 off 41-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Mike Brearley scored 30 off 56-balls included 6-fours.

Graham Roope scored 29 off 27-balls including 2-sixes & a four, Debutant Mike Gatting - who scored 17-runs on his debut ODI match and Ian Botham 15 not out.

Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Raja, Pervez Mir, Saleem Altaf each took one-wickets, Debutants Aamer Hameed and Liaqat Ali both took one-wickets on their debut ODI match.

Javed Miandad named Player of the match for Pakistan, his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best unbeaten 77 off facing 109-deliveries including 3-fours and 2-sixes.

Ian Botham named Player of the match for England, his match-winning unbeaten 15 after picked up 3-wickets for 39.
