  • Punjab Kings' 54-run win was their sixth largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League and It is their biggest win against Chennai Super Kings in IPL, previous biggest win by 44-runs at Cuttack in 2014.
  • Punjab Kings' 180 was their eighth highest score against Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
  • Liam Livingstone hammered a 27-ball 11th fastest fifty by an Punjab Kings batsman against Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
  • Chennai Super Kings' 126 was their third lowest score in the completed innings against Punjab Kings in IPL.

PBKS scored 180-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Liam Livingstone hammered a 60 off 32-balls, Shikhar Dhawan struck 33 off 24-balls including 4-fours & a six and Jitesh Sharma 26.

CSK best bowler by Chris Jordan, Dwaine Pretorius both took 2-wickets, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja and Mukesh Choudhary each took one-wickets.

CSK scored 126 for all-out in 18 overs with top scorer by Shivam Dube blasted a 57 off 36-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 190, MS Dhoni 23, Robin Uthappa 13 and Ambati Rayudu 13.

PBKS best bowler by Rahul Chahar picked up 3-wickets for 25-runs in 4-overs, Vaibhav Arora, Liam Livingstone both took 2-wickets, Arshdeep Singh, Odean Smith and Kagiso Rabada each took one-wickets.

Liam Livingstone named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 25-runs in 3-overs and took 2-catches after smashing a career-best quick-fire 60 off facing 32-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 187.50.
