David Miller and Rahul Tewati powers to Gujarat Titans registered their historic first IPL game win against Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4-wickets and keep the their position top of the points table in the 43rd match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Gujarat Titans chased 171 was their third highest successful run-chase in IPL.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore's 170 was their highest total at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai in IPL, previous highest was 155 against Mumbai Indians in 2010.
  • 48 : Shikhar Dhawan equalled a joint second most fifties hit in Indian Premier League , jointly with Shikhar Dhawan.
  • 79* : David Miller and Rahul Tewati set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Gujarat Titans in Indian Premier League, previously held by the 60-run stand between these pair against Lucknow Super Giants at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in this tournament and GT's third highest any-wicket stand in IPL.

RCB scored 170-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli struck 58 off 53-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Rajat Patidar hammered a 52 off 32-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 162.50, Glenn Maxwell blasted a 33 off 18-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 183.33 and Mahipal Lomror 16.

GT best bowler by Pradeep Sangwan takes 2-wickets, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Shami and Alzarri Joseph each took one-wickets.

GT chased 174-4 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Rahul Tewatia hammered a unbeaten 43 off 25-balls.

David Miller blasted a 39 off 24-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 162.50, Shubman Gill scored 31 off 28-balls included 3-fours & a six.

Wriddhiman Saha scored 29 off 22-balls including 4-fours and Sai Sudharsan 20.

RCB best bowler by Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga both took 2-wickets.

Rahul Tewatia named Player of the match for his  match-winning power-hitting batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 43 off 25-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 172.
