New Zealand best bowler by Richard Hadlee, Lance Cairns both took 2-wickets and one for Jeremy Coney.

New Zealand chased 207-9 in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Jeremy Coney cracked a unbeaten 53 off 65-balls including 4-fours.

Richard Hadlee hammered a 41 off 33-balls, Warren Lees hit 25 off 27-balls included 2-fours, John Wright scored 20 off consuming 58-deliveries included four boundaries, Bruce Edgar 18 and Geoff Howarth 18.

West Indies best bowler by Derick Parry picked up 3-wickets, Collis King, Joel Garner both took 2-wickets and one for Michael Holding.

Richard Hadlee named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to smashed a quick-fire 41 off 33-balls including 6-fours with strike rate of 124.24 after taking a 2-wickets for 28-runs in 10-overs included three maidens.
