Quinton de Kock's power-hitting 70-ball 140* and KL Rahul's supporting unbeaten half-century before Three-wicket hauls from Mohsin Khan and Marcus Stoinis helped to Lucknow Super Giants thrilling 2-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders, despite a Nitish Rana - Shreyas Iyer - Rinku Singh's blitz and qualify for the playoffs in a high-scoring thriller of the 66th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Lucknow Super Giants' 2-run win was their smallest victory by terms of runs in IPL, their previous narrowest win by 6-runs against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in this tournament.
  • Lucknow Super Giants' 210 was their second highest score in Indian Premier League and It is their highest total against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL, previous highest was 176 at Pune in this tournament.
  • Quinton de Kock hammered a 59-ball second fastest century for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL after KL Rahul.

LSG scored 210 for without lost a wicket in 20 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock hammered a 140 off 70-balls - which was his 2nd IPL hundred & his first century against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.

KL Rahul cracked a unbeaten 68 off 51-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours.

KKR scored 208-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shreyas Iyer hammered a 50 off 29-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 172.41.

Nitish Rana blasted a 42 off 22-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 190.90, Rinku Singh hammered a 40 off 15-balls included 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 266.66.

Sam Billings struck 36 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 150 and Sunil Narine blasted a unbeaten 21 off 7-balls included 3-sixes with strike rate of 300.

LSG best bowler by Mohsin Khan picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 4-overs, Marcus Stoinis took 3-wickets for 23-runs in 2-overs, Krishnapp Gowtham and Ravi Bishnoi both took one-wickets.

Quinton de Kock named Player of the match for his power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 140-runs knocked off facing 70-balls including 10-sixes & 10-fours with strike rate of 200.
