Openers Ruturaj Gaikwad's 57-ball 99 and Devon Conway's 55-ball unbeaten 85 before Mukesh Choudhary's four-for sets helped to Chennai Super Kings narrow 13-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite a Nicholas Pooran's onslaught and keep their play-off hopes alive in a high-scoring thriller of the 46th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Chennai Super Kings' 13-run win was their second smallest victory by terms of runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.
  • Chennai Super Kings' 202 was their third highest score against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL.

SRH scored 189-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Nicholas Pooran hammered a unbeatean 64 off 33-balls including 6-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 193.93.

Kane Williamson struck 47 off 37-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Abhishek Sharma blasted a 39 off 24-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 162.50, Aiden Markram 17 and Shashank Singh 15.

CSK best bowler by Mukesh Choudhary claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 46-runs in 4-overs, Mitchell Santner and Dwaine Pretorius both took one-wickets.

Ruturaj Gaikwad named Player of the match for his quick-fire batting performance to smashed a 99-runs knocked off facing 57-balls including 6-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 173.68.
