Karan KC's five-wicket haul and Sandeep Lamichhane's three-for before Half-centuries from openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh steers to Nepal easy seven-wicket victory over Oman in a one-sided game of the 89th match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.

Match Stats : Karan KC's 5 for 33 was the joint third best bowling figures for Nepal in One-day international, jointly with Sompal Kami and the best bowling figures by an Nepal bowler against Oman in ODIs, surpassing the his own record of 5 for 38 at same venue in this tournament. Karan KC became the second Nepal bowler to take a two five-wicket haul in One-day internationals after Sandeep Lamichhane.

Oman scored 163 for all-out in 46.5 overs with top scorer by Zeeshan Maqsood scored 52 off 100-deliveries including three boundaries, Sandeep Goud hit 47 off 91-balls including 3-fours & a six and Jatinder Singh 23.

Nepal best bowler by Karan KC 5-33, Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 3-wickets, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sompal Kami both took one-wickets.

Nepal chased 167-3 in 33.1 overs with top scorer by Aasif Sheikh struck 62 off 86-balls including 7-fours & a six.

Kushal Bhurtel struck 56 off 75-balls including 5-fours and Rohit Paudel 26 not out.

Oman best bowler by Fayyaz Butt took 2-wickets and one for Khawar Ali.

Karan KC named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 33-runs in 9-overs.
