Babar Azam's brilliant century, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan's fifties and Khushdil Shah's assault helped to Pakistan's record five-wicket victory over West Indies, despite a brilliant century from Shai Hope and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring epic game of the first ODI.

  • Pakistan chased 306 was their seventh highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their highest chase against West Indies in ODIs, previous highest chase was 295 at Abu Dhabi in 2008.
  • West Indies' 305 was their fifth highest score against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • Shai Hope's 127 was his third highest score for West Indies in One-day international and the fifth highest-score by an West Indies batsman against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • Shai Hope became the eighth West Indies batsman to score a hundred in Pakistan soil in One-day internationals.
  • 5 : Babar Azam equalled a joint second most centuries hit by any batsman against West Indies in One-day internationals, jointly with Herschelle Gibbs, AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla.
  • 13 Innings : Babar Azam became the fastest to reach 1000 ODI runs as ODI captain in terms of innings, beating Virat Kohli's record, He took 17 innings to reach this feat.
  • Babar Azam became the first player to hit twice three consecutive ODI hundreds.

West Indies scored 305-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shai Hope 127 off 134-balls - which was his 12th ODI hundred & his first century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Shamarh Brooks struck 70 off 83-balls including 7-fours, Rovman Powell hammered a 32 off 23-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 139.13, Romario Shepherd 25 and Nicholas Pooran 21.

Pakistan best bowler by Haris Rauf claimed a 4-wickets for 77-runs in 10-overs, Shaheen Shah Afridi both took 2-wickets and one for Shadab Khan - Mohammad Nawaz.

Pakistan chased 306-5 in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam 103 off 107-balls - which was his 17th ODI hundred & his fifth century against West Indies in ODIs - including 9-fours.

Imam-ul-Haq struck 65 off 71-balls including 6-fours, Mohammad Rizwan scored 59 off 61-balls included 2-fours & a six and Khushdil Shah hammered a unbeaten 41 off 23-balls.

West Indies best bowler by Alzarri Joseph takes 2-wickets, Akeal Hosein, Jayden Seales and Romario Shepherd each took one-wickets.

Khushdil Shah named Player of the match for his match-winning power-hitting batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 41 off 23-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 178.26.
