Magnificent captain Monank Patel's blazing century and Sushant Modani's maiden hundred before Ali Khan's record-breaking maiden five-wicket haul helped to USA registered their historic first ODI win against Oman by thumping 114-run victory over Oman, despite a Ayyan Khan and Shoaib Khan's each 59 in the 85th match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.

Match Stats : USA's 114-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals. USA's 323 was their highest score in One-day internationals, previous highest was 310 against against Scotland in this tournament. This is the first instance of USA's two batsmen were scores of centuries or more runs in their innings in One-day internationals. 209 : Sushant Modani and Monank Patel set up the record second-wicket partnership for USA in One-day international, previously held by the 102-run stand between these pair against UAE in this tournament and the USA's highest any-wicket stand in ODIs, surpassing the previous record held by the 140-run stand for the third-wicket between Monank Patel and Aaron Jones against Scotland at Sharjah in 2019. Monank Patel became the first USA batsman to score a two centuries in One-day internationals. Monank Patel's 130 was the second highest score for USA in One-day internationals after Jaskaran Malhotra's unbeaten 173. Sushant Modani became the third USA batsman to score a century in One-day internationals after Jaskaran Malhotra and Monank Patel. Monank Patel became the first USA batsman to score a hundred against Oman in One-day internationals. Sushant Modani became the second USA batsman to score a hundred against Oman in One-day internationals. Ali Khan became the second USA bowler to take a five-wicket haul in One-day internationals after Saurabh Netravalkar. Ali Khan's 5 for 20 was the best bowling figures for USA in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 32 held by Sourabh Netravalkar against UAE at Sharjah in 2019.

USA scored 323-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Monank Patel hammered a 130 off 101-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & his first century against Oman in T20Is.

Sushant Modani 111 off 133-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 9-fours, Nosthush Kenjige hammered a unbeaten 34 off 21-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 161.90 and Steven Taylor 16.

Oman best bowler by Khawar Ali picked up 3-wickets, Bilal Khan took 2-wickets and one for Zeeshan Maqsood - Fayyaz Butt.

Oman scored 209 for all-out in 43.3 overs with top scorer by Ayaan Khan struck 59 off 60-balls including 6-fours.

Shoaib Khan cracked a 59 off 68-balls including 8-fours, Kashyap Prajapati hit 28 off 37-balls included 3-fours & a six and Mohammad Nadeem 17.

USA best bowler by Ali Khan claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 20-runs in 8.3-overs including a maiden, Steven Taylor, Yasir Mohammad both took 2-wickets and one for Rusty Theron.

Monank Patel named Player of the match for his blazing batting performance to smashed a career-best 130-runs knocked off facing 101-balls including 11-fours and 6-sixes with strike rate of 128.71.
