Michael Bracewell's power-hitting 82-ball 127* powers New Zealand to an unlikely one-wicket victory over Ireland, despite a maiden century from Harry Tector and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring thriller of the first ODI.

* New Zealand's 20 runs are the most target runs successfully chased in the 50th over of a One-day internationals, previous highest was 18 runs successfully chased by England against Australia in 1987.

Ireland scored a run-a-ball 300-runs for 9-wickets in 50 overs with top scorer by Harry Tector hit 113 off 117-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 14-fours & 3-sixes.

Curtis Campher cracked a 43 off 47-balls including 5-fours & a six, Andy McBrine scored 39 off 58-balls included 4-fours & a six.

Simi Singh blasted a unbeaten 30 off 19-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.89, Lorcan Tucker 26 and George Dockrell 18.

New Zealand best bowler by Lockie Ferguson, Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner each takes 2-wickets, Debutant Glenn Phillips - who took 1-wicket on his debut ODI match and Matt Henry took one-wicket.

New Zealand chased 305-9 in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Michael Bracewell blasted a unbeaten 127 off 82-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Martin Guptill struck 51 off 61-balls including 6-fours & a six, Debutant Glenn Phillips - who scored 38 off 53-balls on his debut ODI match - included 3-fours & a six, Ish Sodhi 25 and Tom Latham 23.

Michael Bracewell named Player of the match for his match-winning power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 127-runs knocked off facing 82-balls including 10-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 154.87.
