Sikandar Raza's 40-ball 87 and Sean Williams' superb half-century and Craig Ervine's assault before Tendai Chatara and Blessing Muzarabani's combined 5-wickets sets up to Zimbabwe registered their historic first T20I win Singapore by a record 111-run in a one-sided game of the opening match of a T20 World Cup Qualifier B.

Match Stats :
  • Zimbabwe's 111-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals, previous biggest win by 109-runs against Canada at King City (NW) in 2008
  • Zimbabwe's 236 was their highest score in T20 internationals, previous highest was 200 against New Zealand at Hamilton in 2012.
  • Singapore's 125 was their third lowest score in the completed innings in T20 internationals.

Zimbabwe scored 236-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sikandar Raza hammered a 87 off 40-balls, Sean Williams blasted a 53 off 35-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 151.42.

Craig Ervine hammered a 34 off 16-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 212.50, Regis Chakabva hit 24 off 12-balls included 4-fours with strike-rate of 200 and Milton Shumba 22 not out.

Singapore best bowler by Anantha Krishna, Amjad Mahboob, Aryaman Sunil and Janak Prakash each took one-wickets.

Singapore scored 125-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Janak Prakash cracked a unbeaten 32 off 33-balls including one-six & a four, Aryaman Sunil 25 and Surendran Chandramohan 21.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Tendai Chatara picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Blessing Muzarabani took 2-wickets and one for Luke Jongwe - Ryan Burl.

Sikandar Raza named Player of the match for his scintillating batting performance to smashed a career-best 87-runs knocked off facing 40-balls including 8-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 217.50,
